A little about Magic City Costumes.....

We are a small, one (sometimes two) person business located in East Wenatchee, Washington.  The belly dance merchandise is showcased in a small shop next to our home dance studio, and we have a separate storefront at 509 Grant Rd (where I work with my trusty sidekick Halee Reeves,) which supplies the dance studios in our area with everything from jazz pants to pointe shoes to Halloween costumes, wigs and makeup. My husband Roy Petit and I started online in 1999 but sold merchandise at belly dance events long before. 

I have been dancing since 1960 and belly dancing since 1980.  We have two grown sons (both very musically inclined) and currently live with our many feline "children."  Roy directs the Middle Eastern Washington Scabland Band, a percussion group of six musicians, and I direct Sabah Performing Arts which oversees 19 dancers in four different troupes.  We call it the Sabah Tribe!

I have been building this site by myself for the last couple of months (in my copious free time!)  Our old web site code finally gave out and we changed hosts, programs, etc.  It's been a steep learning curve, but it's been fun and a bit frustrating!  Changes will continue to be made, and items continually added.

Our goal is to help you find a costume or accessory which will complement your costume and make you a happy dancer!
